The Proper Nanny is co-owned and operated by two career nannies Terri Haase and Ucee Faenza.
Terri Haase is native of Cleveland and the oldest of five children. She has earned her degree in Early Childhood Development. Terri was a stay at home mom for six years and has two grown children .She has many years of practical experience in the fields of general and special education. Terri has been a Head Teacher for Toddlers and Pre-K and has worked as both Full-time Live-In and Live-Out Nanny. Terri volunteered for eight years at Julie Billart School teaching reading skills to learning disabled students and was a recent guest speaker in the graduate program at Ursuline College on the topic of the challenges of working with special needs children.
Ucee Faenza has over ten years of childcare experience. She has earned her BA degree in Education. She has worked as a nanny and a babysitter for families in Chicago, San-Francisco and various cities in Ohio. In addition to her deeply instilled family values she has learned great deal of knowledge from the in home childcare industry. Based on her wealth of experience and a strong personal commitment she is determined to facilitate a mutually satisfying experience for both the nanny and the family.
